Our 4 core values are:
1. Ubuntu; humanity to others…I am what I am because of who we all are. As a community we are all connected and cannot be anything without others.

Mission
to create a community that promotes healing and brings joy to
the lives of youth, adults and elders by utilizing Capoeira, Music and Art to activate the bodies, educate the
minds and elevate the souls, while bringing awareness to African and Afro Brazilian culture.

Educate the minds through learning the African and Afro Brazilian culture, Elevate the souls by creating
Art as a form of expression to translate into untold stories to promote healing and ultimately experience joy.
Adult Capoeira Class
Capoeira is an Afro-Brazilian martial art that incorporates dance, acrobatics, and music. The art form was birthed around 500 years ago in Brazil, created by enslaved Africans. During slavery it was used as a pastime activity and more importantly, it was used by enslaved Africans to fight for their freedom.

Time: 7pm-8:30pm
Location: The Morgan-Lee Arts Centre

Cost:
$15 per class or $50 per month
